Homework 12-9-10

Spelling:  WB pg. 50 and 52
English:  WB pg. 40
Reading:  WS pg. 111 and 112, study for tests tomorrow
Math:  Benchmark test tomorrow

The can drive is still going on.  We are doing very well.  We have collected 230 cans!  Keep bringing them in.
 Interims came home today....please sign and return.


Our holiday party note went home attached to the interim today.  If you are able to donate anything, please let me know.  I need two parents to make cupcakes (12 each).  They can be any flavor but please do NOT ice them.  Thanks!

Spelling:  copy words into agenda from pg. 49,  study for pre-test
English:  pg. 37 (1-10) write plural nouns

Note:  Please remember money for the Santa Workshop tomorrow.  We shop at 11:00!!
Also, don't forget to donate cans or a new toy for someone less fortunate!  We have a total of 130 cans so far!!

Homework 12-3-10

Thank you Culpeper County for deleting my background....I am sure there was something terribly wrong with it.  When I crawl out from under the mound of papers I have to grade for Interims, I will install a new one! (just to clarify....I was being sarcastic!)

So.....yesterday, Culpeper County updated our computer filters and blocked our blogs.  I guess they didn't want any of our kids to do their homework ;)  Thankfully, most of my students were responsible enough to write down their assignments and complete them!  Anyway, on with today.....

Social Studies:  complete notes on Africans & Women
Reading:  study for John Henry quizzes
English:  pg. 33 (1-10)
Spelling:  WB pgs. 46 & 48
Math:  answer question from the board about your decimal gardens
